Barcelona-based airline Vueling has introduced a new livery on its Airbus A320, featuring the Barcelona Feminí team as part of its collaboration with the Catalan football club. The team will utilize this aircraft for their upcoming match against Real Madrid in the capital.

The livery, which adorns the Airbus A320 registered as EC-LZN, showcases Barcelona's colors and bears the slogan "Dream, Play, Fly." It highlights prominent players such as Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, Caroline Graham-Hansen, Salma Paralluelo, Maria León, and Patri Guijarro. This initiative is notable as soccer teams are typically represented more frequently on airline liveries by male squads.

The design draws inspiration from each player's journey from childhood dreams to professional achievements. It aims to underscore their perseverance and status as role models for future generations.

Inside the aircraft, the theme continues with an interior resembling a football pitch. The aisle features a center circle design while headrests are styled in blue and garnet with the slogan "Dream, Play, Fly." Additional messages related to the partnership are displayed on windows and under the pilot's window.

Over seven months into this partnership between Vueling and Barça Feminí have been marked by innovation and social commitment. Sandra Hors, Vueling Director of Corporate Affairs - Brand and Sustainability stated: “This partnership has successfully connected with the public and has been very well received... Together we are projecting both brands...”

Vueling had previously operated another Barcelona-themed A320 for transporting players to various competitions. This aircraft connected 125,000 passengers across 60 European destinations through nearly 750 flights covering 740,000 km.

As part of International Airlines Group (IAG), Vueling operates from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport serving numerous domestic and international routes including Madrid and London. The partnership agreement signed in April 2024 extends until 2026 focusing on shared origins in Barcelona along with commitments towards society through environmentally friendly practices while promoting women's roles.

Coinciding with its 20th anniversary celebrated earlier this year highlighting roots established since February 2004; another dedicated A320 registered EC-MER was unveiled flying Barça Feminí squad victorious over Chelsea en route winning Champions League title.
