Delta Air Lines has announced the relaunch of its SkyMiles Experiences program, which aims to offer members unique opportunities beyond traditional travel perks. Originally introduced in 2016, the program has been updated to meet current consumer interests by providing more ways for members to use their miles on exclusive experiences.

Dwight James, Delta's Senior Vice President of Customer Engagement & Loyalty, stated, "Being a SkyMiles Member is about more than traveling from place to place – it’s about being part of an exclusive ecosystem of opportunities tailored to your ambitions." The new platform is designed to inspire members with creative opportunities even when they are not flying.

The revamped SkyMiles Experiences offers five curated collections: Music & Film, Sports, Culinary, Wellness & Adventure, and Fashion, Art & Design. Starting November 18th, new experiences will be added bi-weekly. Some experiences can be instantly purchased with miles while others require bidding.

Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer at Delta Air Lines said, "Access to curated experiences, events and rewards outside of the flight allows us to offer something that resonates with their lifestyle."

Some highlighted offerings include a VIP tour at Starbucks' original store and a private dance class with the Rockettes. Members can also bid on luxury packages like private dinners at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach or an immersive mixology class at Conrad Orlando.

The program promises continued benefits such as unlimited redeemable miles and no blackout dates for award tickets on Delta-operated flights.

SkyMiles Members need to log in to view or bid on these experiences. While anyone can browse the website, only members have access to redeem or participate in auctions.
