United Airlines highlights busy Latin American routes for November

United Airlines has demonstrated a strong presence in Latin America, with Mexico emerging as the leading country in its route network for November 2024. According to data from Cirium, United Airlines' busiest routes include destinations like Cancun, Mexico City, and Monterrey.

The most frequently operated route this month is between Houston George Bush Airport (IAH) and Cancun International Airport (CUN), with 180 scheduled flights. This route primarily utilizes Boeing 737-900ER aircraft. Additionally, United serves Cancun from eight different U.S. cities.

"The second most frequent route was from IAH to Mexico City International Airport (MEX), with 179 flights," stated the report. The airline employs its Boeing 737 MAX 8 fleet for these operations, covering five U.S. destinations.

Another significant route is between IAH and Monterrey International Airport (MTY), with 147 scheduled flights in November. United Airlines connects MTY from three U.S. cities.

United Airlines also maintains high-demand routes to Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos in Mexico. Beyond Mexican destinations, other popular routes within the Latin American network include Costa Rica and Guatemala.

In Costa Rica, United operates flights to two cities: Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and Guanacaste Airport (LIR). The IAH-SJO route features 80 scheduled flights this month and is also serviced from Newark, Denver, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Chicago. Meanwhile, the IAH-LIR route sees a total of 60 flights scheduled for November.
