Starring Isla Fisher, Air New Zealand has launched a new campaign aimed at highlighting its commitment to exceptional service and enjoyable onboard experiences. The campaign features the actress's humor and charm as it seeks to engage Australian audiences.

The advertisement, titled "Somewhere over the Tasman," depicts the journey of a young Kiwi girl traveling alone who befriends Fisher during her flight. Together, they enjoy snacks, movies, and Air New Zealand's renowned hospitality.

Kathryn O'Brien, Air New Zealand's General Manager for Australia, expressed excitement about the new initiative. She stated, "We're thrilled to bring this campaign to Australians showcasing Air New Zealand's ability to deliver an unrivalled onboard experience." She further added that working with Fisher was essential due to her ability to capture the airline's sense of fun and resonate with Australians.

O'Brien emphasized the partnership with Fisher by saying, "Partnering with Isla allows us to showcase the warm and down-to-earth approach to service we are known and loved for while also showing why we are the airline of choice for seamless connections to New Zealand and beyond."

Isla Fisher shared her enthusiasm for being part of this project: "As Australians, we spend a lot of time on flights when travelling, so we know the importance of in-flight service, and that's why I love Air New Zealand. I've been a long-time fan of the airline." She also highlighted her positive experiences flying with Air New Zealand from Los Angeles to Australia.

Air New Zealand operates more than 150 return flights weekly between Australia and key cities in New Zealand such as Auckland, Wellington, Queenstown, and Christchurch. From these hubs, passengers can continue their journeys domestically or connect to long-haul destinations across Asia, North America including Canada.
