Los Angeles World Airports unveiled "Everyday Transcendence," a 226-foot-wide mural by local artist Allison Kunath in Terminal 4. The statement was made on November 1st.

Allison Kunath, an internationally acclaimed abstract installation artist, has over 15 years of experience and has completed more than 175 projects, covering nearly 40,000 square feet across six countries. Her work has been commissioned by prestigious entities like The City of Los Angeles and the University of California (Irvine), and featured in collaborations with brands such as Starbucks, Four Seasons Hotels, and Lululemon.

In 2021, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) showcased 119 artworks across 18 exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, as part of its Art Program. This initiative is a collaboration between Los Angeles World Airports and the Department of Cultural Affairs. It aims to enhance the travel experience by integrating diverse and memorable art installations throughout the airport.

The New Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX features iconic permanent public artworks commissioned through the City of Los Angeles’ Percent for Public Art Program. This program allocates 1% of construction costs for art installations. Each of these art commissions has a budget of $1 million, resulting in notable works such as Air Garden by Ball-Nogues Studio, Woven Walk by Pae White Studio, and Bell Tower by Mark Bradford. These installations enhance the terminal's ambiance, offering travelers a memorable visual experience.
