ITA Airways has initiated a new Airbus A330neo flight route between Rome and Bangkok, marking its first nonstop service to Thailand. The inaugural flight, AZ758, departed from Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport on November 16 and landed at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport after a journey lasting over ten hours.

"This route represents a key milestone for us," stated Emiliana Limosani, ITA Airways Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of the airline's Volare loyalty program. "Marking our entry into the Thai market and further extending our reach in Asia alongside our connections to Tokyo, New Delhi and Male in the Maldives."

The airline views this new connection as an important step in expanding its network to strategic markets. It plans to operate this route five times weekly with varying schedules throughout the week.
