Air New Zealand has announced the operation of a charter flight for the Bluff Oyster & Food Festival. The festival package will be available for purchase starting at 9 am on Friday, November 22, through grabaseat.co.nz. This special offer includes return seats on the Grabaseat charter from Auckland, a general admission ticket to the festival, and transfers between Invercargill and Bluff.

The charter flight will utilize a 171-seat A320 aircraft. It is scheduled to leave Auckland at 7:30 am, arriving in Invercargill at 9:35 am. The return journey is set to depart Invercargill at 5:30 pm and arrive back in Auckland by 7:30 pm on the same day.

Scott Carr, Air New Zealand's General Manager Domestic, expressed enthusiasm about providing this service again, describing it as a "pearler" of a day. He stated, "Oyster season is a highlight of the Southland calendar, and the Bluff Oyster & Food Festival is the ultimate celebration of this legendary delicacy."
