Emirates has collaborated with the Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) to encourage travelers from the UAE to explore Japan during the winter season. The partnership aims to highlight Japan as a captivating destination, offering a range of experiences from snow sports and festivals to traditional hot springs.

The relaxed visa regulations introduced last year have contributed to an increase in visitors from the UAE, with nearly 7,000 nationals traveling to Japan in the first half of 2024—a 71% rise compared to the previous year.

Emirates has been serving routes to Japan for over two decades since launching operations in Osaka in 2002. Currently, the airline offers 21 weekly flights across three Japanese cities: Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, and Osaka, using Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. The introduction of a four-class Airbus A380 earlier this year provides enhanced travel options with its Premium Economy product alongside refurbished cabins.

For those planning their trips, Emirates Holidays presents exclusive packages tailored for relaxation and exploration. Packages begin at AED 17,699 per person for a seven-day journey through Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Osaka. These include sightseeing tours and visits to notable sites such as Mount Fuji and Kyoto's temples.

An extended eight-day package is also available featuring activities like tea ceremonies and visits to Fushimi Inari Shrine. This package includes stays in Wakayama and Osaka with opportunities to explore iconic locations such as Himeji Castle.

All packages cover return airfare, accommodation, meals, tours, transfers, entrance tickets, and more. Additional ski packages are offered for those seeking winter sports adventures at renowned Japanese resorts.

"Taking the stress out of trip planning," these curated offerings aim to make exploring Japan's winter charm both convenient and enjoyable for travelers from the UAE.
