Matthew Vlemmiks, dnata Travel Leisure Manager, stated: "Sri Lanka has always been popular in this market and is firmly back on the map for Eid Al Etihad 2024. With a short flight time and excellent value, both in the air and on the ground, the country appeals to travellers with its diverse offerings including natural landscapes, wildlife spotting, picturesque beaches, historic landmarks, and incredible food."

He added that Thailand remains appealing due to direct flights to Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi. The Maldives and Turkey attract visitors with shorter flight times and family-friendly activities. The UK sees high demand from UAE residents visiting loved ones or seeking festive experiences.

dnata Travel experts note an increasing interest in adventurous multi-destination itineraries during winter months. Popular choices include European winter markets and Northern Light excursions. Culturally rich itineraries across Japan and Vietnam are also trending.

The company offers various packages on their website with savings across different holiday types. Offers include stays at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka and Kandima Maldives with significant discounts.
