New airline routes launched by Delta, Air France, Jetstar Asia among others

Numerous airlines have launched or resumed routes this week, marking significant developments in the aviation industry. Delta Air Lines has reinstated two Caribbean routes from Atlanta, reintroducing flights to Puerto Plata and Barbados on November 23. These additions bring Delta's total nonstop flights from Atlanta to 23 Caribbean airports.

Air France has expanded its African network by launching a new route to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, on November 18. The service operates three times weekly using an A350-900 aircraft and follows a triangular route via Zanzibar.

Jetstar Asia commenced its first flights between Singapore and Colombo on November 21, operating five times weekly with an A320ceo. This entry adds competition to a market previously served by Singapore Airlines and SriLankan Airlines.

Delta also inaugurated its longest domestic route from Boston to Honolulu on November 21. The daily service uses an A330-300 aircraft, joining Hawaiian Airlines in serving this airport pair.

IndiGo began flights from Bengaluru to Mauritius on November 19, offering four weekly services with an A320neo. Porter Airlines added Ottawa as its second Tampa route on November 22, complementing existing Toronto services.

HK Express launched daily flights between Hong Kong and Penang on November 21, becoming the third airline on this route alongside Cathay Pacific and AirAsia.

Pegasus introduced a new leisure flight from Izmir to Kraków on November 20, marking the first scheduled service for this airport pair. Frontier Airlines returned to Burbank with new routes to Phoenix and San Francisco starting November 21.
