The Emirates Group marked the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad with a series of celebrations at its headquarters in Dubai on November 28. The event was led by Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, who participated in a cake-cutting ceremony and toured a heritage village showcasing regional handicrafts and artifacts. The celebration also included interactive cultural activities and live performances for the employees.

UAE Eid Al Etihad, celebrated on December 2, commemorates the union of the seven emirates and emphasizes sustainability and collaboration as key to future progress. Emirates is offering its customers insights into Dubai's sustainable practices through various episodes available on ice, such as food sustainability programs featuring Hatta Strawberry Farm and Dibba Bay oysters. Additionally, content about art and design from Tashkeel includes Emirati architect Reema Al Mheiri discussing bio-materiality and regenerative design. Architect Ahmed Bukhash explores architectural sustainability using ancient wisdom to address extreme weather conditions.

Emirates' award-winning ice platform provides over 80 Arabic and Emirati films like Thalatha, Al Aasha Al Aaely El Akhir, and Nasseem. Arabic TV offerings include My Story, inspired by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s book, along with shows like Al Sanaa’ that delve into local culture. More than 40 Arabic TV shows are available including Emirati series such as Al Boom, Khattaf, Sawalef Yadouh, and a documentary titled Al Emarat: Masiret Al Ezza’ W Al Enjaz. Premium content from Shahid is also accessible onboard.
