Ethiopian Airlines has announced the resumption of its flights to Monrovia, Liberia. This development is expected to enhance travel options for passengers and promote economic integration between Ethiopia and Liberia. The airline aims to facilitate trade, tourism, and cultural exchange, contributing to the socio-economic growth of both countries.

Mesfin Tasew, Ethiopian Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer, expressed his satisfaction with the resumed service: “We are pleased to resume our flights to Monrovia, reinforcing our dedication to connecting Africa and promoting intra-African trade. In line with our vision of providing the best travel experience, we believe that our presence in Liberia will enhance opportunities for business and tourism, thus driving mutual growth. This resumption of services represents the strengthening of ties and the bridging of cultures between our two great nations.”

The flights will operate three times a week from Addis Ababa, offering travelers access to Liberia's cultural and natural attractions. Known for its vibrant culture and history, Monrovia is now more accessible thanks to this restored air connection which supports regional economic development.
