Drake's private jet, a Boeing 767 known as Air Drake, is a notable symbol of luxury and excess. This aircraft, typically used by commercial airlines for long-haul routes, has been converted into an opulent flying palace tailored to the rapper's tastes.

Air Drake boasts impressive specifications including a maximum range of 6,385 nautical miles and a cruising speed of 530 mph. While the plane could accommodate up to 200 passengers in its original commercial layout, it has been customized for a much smaller group in an ultra-luxurious setting.

The aircraft was gifted to Drake by Cargojet in 2019 as part of a marketing partnership aimed at enhancing the airline's global presence. Cargojet, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, operates more than 30 aircraft and dominates Canada's air cargo market with over 90% domestic overnight traffic.

To personalize his gift, Drake invested between $80 million and $100 million on refurbishments. The interior features gold accents, wood surfaces, living rooms, entertainment areas, three private suites with premium bedding, and high-tech systems. The exterior sports a sky-blue livery with the Air Drake logo and OVO owl emblem.

Drake uses this jet not only for travel but also as a way to connect with fans worldwide by attending concerts and events globally. Destinations have included Paris for Fashion Week and Los Angeles for Grammy parties.

Recently, the jet is reportedly undergoing another repainting process dubbed "Air Drake 2," hinting at new design elements inspired by his upcoming album.

The evolution from its original state to becoming Air Drake highlights both the success of its owner and its status as more than just an aircraft—it's become a cultural phenomenon.
