Stratos Jets, a prominent private jet charter provider in the United States, has announced a partnership with BitPay to accept cryptocurrency payments. This collaboration allows customers to use Bitcoin and over 100 other cryptocurrencies for booking private jet charters through the BitPay application.

The new payment method offers reduced transaction fees, with cryptocurrency transactions incurring only a 1.5% fee compared to the 4% charged for credit card payments. This is particularly advantageous for international clients who would otherwise face currency conversion and foreign transaction fees.

Joel Thomas, President of Stratos Jets, commented on the partnership: "Stratos Jets takes pride in its strong partnerships with the world's leading luxury air carriers, a robust infrastructure, and dedicated personnel to deliver a world-class customer experience. Now by integrating cryptocurrency payments through BitPay, we are expanding these benefits to a broader audience, offering a seamless, secure, and advantageous payment option for clients who value luxury and cutting-edge solutions."

The decision to partner with BitPay aligns with expectations of growth in the cryptocurrency market following Donald Trump's recent election as President of the United States. Stratos Jets anticipates that crypto-friendly regulators will spur market expansion.

Thomas further noted: "While many brokerages accept cryptocurrency, Stratos Jets distinguishes itself with unparalleled service and infrastructure, positioning us for increased interest and growth in crypto transactions as the market continues to evolve."

Since its founding in 2006 in Orlando, Florida, Stratos Jets has been committed to professionalism in private aviation. The company works through an extensive network of partners rather than owning aircraft directly and is endorsed by ARGUS for its dedication to safety.
