Citilink, an Indonesian low-cost airline, presents itself as a budget-friendly option for travelers who prioritize simplicity. The airline's no-frills approach focuses on affordability rather than luxury or comfort. Among various low-cost competitors, Citilink's flight with a 7:30 am departure time remains popular.

A passenger seated in the "Green Zone" found the seat pitch tight but manageable due to the relatively empty front section of the plane. At 179 cm tall, the passenger managed comfortably during the three-hour flight given the ticket's low price.

The "Green Zone" provides just an extra inch of legroom compared to standard seats, offering a total seat pitch of 29 inches. Standard seats have a more restrictive 28-inch pitch. Taller passengers may consider paying extra for emergency exit rows or front-row seats for additional space.

The cabin appeared worn with marks on overhead luggage compartments. The staff and onboard rules were relaxed compared to other airlines that can be more stringent.

Meals offered were rated mediocre; taste received a score of 3 out of 5, while texture was rated lower at 1 out of 5. Portion sizes were decent and considered better tasting than recent experiences on AirAsia flights.

There is no in-flight entertainment, WiFi, or in-seat power available. Blankets, pillows, and amenity kits are not provided either.

Citilink serves as a viable choice for budget-conscious travelers focused on cost savings. However, its limited legroom and dated cabins suggest it is best suited for short-haul journeys where comfort is secondary. Travelers seeking more comfort might need to adjust their expectations or explore other options.
