dnata Logistics has commenced construction on a new 57,000 square meter warehouse in Dubai South. The facility is strategically positioned near the Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport and aims to enhance the emirate's role as a global logistics hub.

The groundbreaking event was attended by HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, along with Steve Allen, CEO of dnata. The new facility represents an investment of AED 100 million (US$ 27 million) and is expected to handle up to 400,000 tonnes of cargo annually. This expansion will increase dnata Logistics' storage capacity by 50% and create over 50 direct jobs.

The warehouse will incorporate advanced technologies such as automated systems for cargo storage and retrieval and an AI-driven warehouse management system. These features are intended to improve efficiency for dnata's partners.
