Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, is preparing to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a series of events and festivities throughout 2025. The resort, which opened in 1955, will host the anniversary celebration starting on May 16, 2025, and continuing until summer 2026.

The theme for the milestone event is "Celebrate Happy," featuring a new song of the same name. Visitors can expect special decorations, unique character costumes, exclusive food and merchandise offerings, and an array of entertainment options. Two popular nighttime shows are set to return: "Paint the Night," last seen in Anaheim in 2018 during Disneyland's 60th anniversary celebration; and "Wondrous Journeys," which debuted in early 2023 as part of Disney100 celebrations.

"Walt Disney — A Magical Life" will debut at the Main Street Opera House on May 16, 2025. This show features an Audio-Animatronics likeness of Walt Disney himself.
