Eric Edge, Managing Director of Marketing and Advertising at Alaska Airlines | Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines has announced its role as the official airline sponsor for the upcoming Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals. The partnership marks a first for the airline, which aims to offer festival-goers a seamless travel experience with flights from major West Coast hubs across the Pacific Northwest, California, and beyond.

The announcement highlights Alaska Airlines' extensive flight network and its focus on providing direct connections to Palm Springs International Airport, one of the closest airports to Indio, California—home to both music festivals. Coachella is set for April 11-13 and 18-20, followed by Stagecoach on April 25-27.

Eric Edge, Managing Director of Marketing and Advertising at Alaska Airlines stated, "Every day we connect people to the places and experiences they love most, and partnering with Coachella and Stagecoach is yet another way to deliver on that commitment."

In addition to offering flights through its own network, Alaska Airlines partners with Hawaiian Airlines. This collaboration allows passengers to redeem miles for travel across more than 140 destinations worldwide. For festival attendees in select cities such as California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, there are additional options like Flight Pass—a subscription service offering fares starting at $.01 plus taxes and fees.

Alaska Air Group's recent acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines enhances its reach throughout North America, Central America, Asia, and across the Pacific. The group emphasizes safety, customer care excellence, financial performance alongside sustainability initiatives. As part of the oneworld Alliance along with other global partners, guests have numerous choices for purchasing tickets or earning miles with over 30 airlines serving more than 1,000 destinations worldwide.

Eric Edge concluded by expressing excitement about welcoming guests onboard during this partnership: "We can’t wait to welcome guests on board and provide them with the remarkable care we’re known for as they head to the desert this spring."
