Floyd Mayweather, a renowned boxer and media personality, is known for his achievements in the ring and his ventures outside of it. Born on February 24, 1977, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mayweather grew up in a family with a strong boxing background. He began training at an early age and used boxing as an outlet during challenging times.

Mayweather's amateur career was impressive, with 84 wins and eight losses. He also secured a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and won three US Golden Gloves Championships. His transition to professional boxing was seamless; he won his first bout in October 1996 and maintained an undefeated record throughout his career. Over the years, he fought 50 matches without a single loss, with 27 victories by knockout. His accolades include winning 15 major world championships across five weight classes and being named Fighter of the Decade for the 2010s by the Boxing Writers Association of America.

Mayweather's success has extended beyond boxing into various business ventures, contributing to his net worth exceeding $1 billion. This wealth allows him to own a private jet—a Gulfstream IV registered as N151SD. The aircraft is officially owned by Michigan Appearances LLC but primarily operated by Mayweather himself.

According to JetSpy data from 2024, Mayweather's Gulfstream IV has flown only 38 times for a total of 102 flight hours this year. The jet frequently visits airports such as Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, and Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.

The Gulfstream IV series was developed by Gulfstream Aerospace starting in early 1983 as an upgrade to the Gulfstream III. It features several aerodynamic improvements over its predecessor and includes two Rolls-Royce Tay engines that enhance fuel efficiency and reduce noise levels. The aircraft can reach speeds of up to 488 knots (561 miles per hour) with a range of 4,220 nautical miles.

Production of the Gulfstream IV spanned from its introduction in 1987 until it was replaced by the Gulfstream G500 in recent years. Despite ending production, nearly 1,000 units were produced due to its popularity among executives and governments worldwide.
