The upcoming festive season is expected to see record numbers of Emirates customers traveling, with the busiest days anticipated between December 12-15 and December 20-22, just before Christmas. Additionally, high volumes are predicted on December 27-29 ahead of New Year's Eve, with over 88,000 departures per day.

Emirates advises travelers to arrive at the airport up to three hours before their flight and pay attention to boarding times. The airline offers various check-in options including the Emirates City Check-In & Travel Store and newly refurbished First and Business Class areas at Dubai International Airport. Private home check-in services and remote facilities are also available.

Customers can download the Emirates app for online check-in and access flight details. The app allows users to book flights, download digital boarding passes, receive notifications, pre-order meals in Business Class, book chauffeur services, and select inflight entertainment options. Online check-in opens 48 hours prior to departure.

For added convenience, passengers can drop off luggage at the airport a day before their flight without charge. Those departing from Dubai can check in early and leave bags up to 24 hours in advance or 12 hours if flying to the US.

Emirates City Check-In & Travel Store at ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai's business district provides an alternative option for travelers who wish to save time at the airport. Customers can check in from eight in the morning until ten at night using self-service kiosks or dedicated desks.

Travelers starting their journey from Ajman have access to a City Check-In facility at Ajman Central Bus Terminal where they can complete their check-in process up to four hours before departure.

Home check-in services are available for customers in Dubai and Sharjah through DUBZ agents who manage baggage handling while customers proceed directly through airport security later on. This service is complimentary for First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum Members.

At Dubai International Airport (DXB), Emirates offers self-service kiosks for those who haven't checked in online yet. Passengers can select seats, add Skywards numbers, use baggage drop areas, enjoy priority boarding for families with children as well as free baby strollers.

Passengers are reminded by Emirates about baggage restrictions such as power banks being allowed only in hand luggage while smart bags must have removable batteries if carried onboard. E-cigarettes should be protected against accidental activation during travel.

Duty-Free shopping orders can be placed via EmiratesRED.com up until 40 hours before flights with delivery directly onboard ensuring exclusive product access inflight convenience."
