Delta Air Lines has announced the opening of its new Delta One Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport. The lounge, located within the Delta Sky Club in Concourse E, will be available to travelers starting Wednesday, December 12th.

The lounge spans 6,700 square feet and can accommodate over 120 guests. It will operate daily from 14:00 to 21:00. Designed with a theme that reflects Boston's maritime history and academic heritage, the space features a custom sail ceiling and a maroon and leather color scheme.

Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience, emphasized the distinctiveness of each Delta One Lounge: "No two Delta One Lounges are alike – with each new space, we strive to create something truly special and distinct to the host city while never compromising on service or quality."

Roussel added that they aim for guests to feel like VIPs at an exclusive dining establishment inspired by Boston's history and culinary traditions.

A notable feature of the lounge is its design elements reminiscent of the USS Constitution, known as "Old Ironsides," which is docked in nearby Boston Harbor. The nautical ambiance is enhanced by subtle details such as a foot rail at the bar's base and metal cage overhead.

Guests can enjoy views overlooking Boston Harbor and the city skyline. They also have access to amenities like soundproof booths and shower suites in the adjacent Delta Sky Club.

The menu at this new lounge focuses on seafood dishes curated by Chef Ed Brown. According to Delta, offerings include "elevated takes on seafood classics" such as Maine lobster rolls and octopus carpaccio. A chef’s daily local fish selection will be served grilled on a metal plate.

For those preferring non-seafood options, choices include prime steak tartare and crispy cauliflower. Desserts feature warm apple tarts and Boston cream pie slices.

Delta Air Lines continues to expand its presence in Boston after celebrating 90 years of operations there last year. This winter season includes flights from Boston to various destinations including San Antonio, Honolulu, Bozeman (Montana), with upcoming services launching soon for Liberia (Costa Rica).

Next summer marks further expansion with international routes from Boston growing significantly; four weekly flights are planned for Milan—Boston’s largest unserved European market—and Barcelona starting May 2025.
