Alaska Airlines is offering its Mileage Plan members the opportunity to travel to winter destinations such as Vienna, Zurich, and Geneva at reduced mileage rates. This offer is part of the airline's quarterly Global Getaways program, which provides limited-time travel deals to select international locations.

The promotion allows members to redeem miles for up to 50% savings on award travel booked by December 31, 2024. Travel must occur between January 1 and April 30, 2025, in economy and premium economy cabins.

Mileage redemption rates have been adjusted with some starting as low as 10,000 miles instead of the previous 12,500 miles. Other reductions include fares beginning at 20,000 miles down from either 22,500 or 30,000 miles.
