Finding value in every transaction is crucial for small-business owners managing everyday expenses. The Amazon Business Prime American Express Card offers significant benefits on both Amazon and non-Amazon purchases, along with the customer service that American Express is known for.

Approved applicants with an eligible Prime membership receive a $125 Amazon gift card as a welcome offer, and there is no annual fee associated with the card. Terms apply.

The card provides a unique rewards structure, allowing business owners to choose between extended 90-day payment terms on U.S. purchases at amazon.com, Amazon Business, AWS, and Whole Foods Market or earning 5% rewards on the first $120,000 in purchases each calendar year (1% thereafter). These rewards can be redeemed for savings on future Amazon purchases. Terms apply.

Additionally, cardholders earn 2% rewards at U.S. restaurants and gas stations and on wireless phone services purchased directly from U.S. providers, along with 1% rewards on other eligible purchases. The card has no foreign transaction fees, benefiting those who travel for business or make international purchases.

"The rewards are great," says Taylor Broach of Taylored Technology. "With the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card, we get 5% back at amazon.com (with eligible Prime membership), and we use those rewards to treat our employees or buy supplies for our business."

The card also integrates accounting convenience by offering various reports and analytics to track spending effectively. Transactions are automatically tagged with Intuit QuickBooks categories upon enrollment, providing enhanced data in downloadable files alongside online statements.

"We really like how the Amazon Business American Express Card integrates directly with the accounting system that we use," notes Doug Bell from BestTechIT.

Supplementary cards can be issued to employees for business expenses while maintaining accountability for all purchases made on the card.

For businesses frequently purchasing from amazon.com, Amazon Business, AWS, Whole Foods Market or using their cards at U.S. restaurants and gas stations, this card offers features designed to simplify operations while enhancing savings opportunities.

Applications for the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card can be submitted via amazon.com.
