Emirates has once again secured its position as a leading airline by winning several prestigious awards at the 2024 World Travel Awards and World Travel Tech Awards. The airline was honored with titles such as ‘World’s Leading Airline - First Class,’ ‘World’s Leading Airline - Brand,’ ‘World’s Leading Airline - Inflight Entertainment,’ and ‘World’s Leading Airline - Rewards Programme.’ Additionally, Emirates was recognized for having the ‘Best Airline App Worldwide’ and the ‘Best Airline App in the Middle East.’

The ceremony took place at the Savoy Palace in Madeira, Portugal, where David Quito, Emirates’ Country Manager in Portugal, accepted the awards on behalf of the airline. The World Travel Awards is known for acknowledging excellence across all sectors of global travel and tourism, while the World Travel Tech Awards focuses on achievements in travel technology.

Emirates has been committed to providing top-notch service by investing in its onboard experience and introducing innovative concepts. The airline is currently rolling out 36 fully refurbished aircraft with new interiors as part of a multi-billion dollar retrofit program. This includes their Premium Economy offering.

In terms of inflight entertainment, Emirates has expanded its offerings through collaboration with Spotify to provide a variety of podcasts and playlists. Their loyalty program, Emirates Skywards, boasts over 33 million members worldwide who benefit from partnerships with more than 200 brands.

The Emirates app is noted for its functionality and user experience, offering real-time flight updates, baggage tracking, airport maps, and more. Earlier this year, it was ranked among the top three airline websites by Catchpoint for page load speed.

For further details or ticket bookings, customers can visit emirates.com or use various other platforms such as the Emirates App or retail stores.
