Emirates is emphasizing its Arabic heritage as World Arabic Language Day approaches on December 18. This day, recognized since 2012, marks the adoption of Arabic as an official language by the United Nations in 1973. The airline, which serves over 500 million Arabic speakers worldwide, integrates the language into various aspects of its operations.

The Emirates logo features Arabic calligraphy, symbolizing its UAE roots and commitment to global Arabic hospitality and culture. Initially created in 1985 and redesigned in 1999, the logo showcases a bold style with the word "الإمارات" in gold or white, reflecting sophistication and cultural pride.

Emirates' digital platforms are accessible in both Arabic and English, providing services such as flight bookings and customer support through multiple channels. The airline's safety video is available in both languages to ensure clear communication of safety measures. Aircraft signage also includes bilingual instructions for passenger convenience.
