Planespotters can expect to see flights from numerous international destinations such as London Heathrow (1.6 million passengers), Guadalajara (1 million passengers), Taipei (1 million passengers), Seoul (1 million passengers), and Tokyo Haneda (975 thousand passengers).

The annual SpotLAX/Cranky Dorkfest event attracts many planespotters to LAX each year. Other notable planespotting locations at LAX include Imperial Hill and Vista Del Mar Park.

As Los Angeles prepares to host the Olympic Games in 2028, increased charter flights are expected to provide additional opportunities for planespotting enthusiasts.
