Frontier Airlines has announced plans to indefinitely suspend over 40 routes in the United States, including two to Puerto Rico. This development was initially highlighted by Ishrion Aviation on BlueSky. The airline's preliminary schedule, filed until April 21, 2025, includes the removal of routes from several major airports.
Among the affected airports are Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Denver International Airport (DEN), and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). According to Cirium’s Diio airline planning system, these airports were among Frontier's busiest in April.
The airline is also making network adjustments. In November, it announced 16 new routes from various locations such as Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).
