Air India is set to enhance its international network with upgraded aircraft and optimized schedules starting in 2025. The airline announced plans to deploy its best aircraft on key routes, aiming to improve the onboard experience for passengers.

The upgrades include deploying retrofitted Airbus A320neos on the Delhi-Bangkok route from January 16, featuring refreshed interiors across all classes and offering free wireless inflight entertainment through Vista Stream. Additionally, a fourth daily flight will be added to this route, facilitating connections between Bangkok and various destinations in North America and Europe via Delhi.

Significant changes are also planned for flights to Frankfurt and Singapore. Air India will use A321neo and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on these routes, providing modern cabins with fully flat beds in business class and premium economy options. From January 1, Delhi-Frankfurt and Mumbai-Frankfurt flights will operate on 787-9s, while Delhi-Singapore will have daily services on both 787-9 and A321neo aircraft. Mumbai-Singapore will feature twice-daily A321neo flights.

Starting February 1, schedules for flights between Delhi and Frankfurt as well as Delhi and Paris will be adjusted to offer more flexibility with daytime and nighttime departures. These changes aim to provide seamless two-way connectivity between Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and India.

By enhancing cabin features and optimizing flight timings, Air India seeks to match competitors on long-haul routes connecting Europe, Australia, the US, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
