Condor is set to expand its flight schedule in the summer of 2025, introducing eight new city destinations. From Frankfurt, travelers will have daily flights to Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP), Prague (PRG), Vienna (VIE), Zurich (ZRH), Berlin (BER), Hamburg (HAM), and Munich (MUC). These cities offer a variety of cultural, sightseeing, shopping, conference, and culinary experiences. This expansion aligns with the growing trend of combining business travel with leisure on short-haul routes, known as "bleisure."
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, stated: “With the eight new city connections, each of which is included in the summer flight schedule once a day, Condor is expanding its offering to include exciting city destinations where you can have a fantastic time.” He further explained that Condor is evolving beyond being just a vacation airline by adapting its flight schedule to meet customer needs.
The decision also comes in response to rising location costs in Germany. As a result, five aircraft will be relocated to Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Milan, and Rome for economic growth opportunities. Other airlines have similarly announced capacity shifts due to increasing government location costs in Germany.
