National Airlines has taken delivery of two new Airbus A330-200 aircraft, marking the completion of its widebody fleet expansion. These additions are part of the Florida-based carrier's strategy to modernize its fleet and increase capacity. The planes will be used for business charters, military transport, holiday groups, and sports teams worldwide.

The airline received its first Airbus A320-200 in July and has now added these A330-200s from CDB Aviation. National Airlines Chairman Christopher Alf stated, "We are extremely grateful to CDB Aviation for partnering with us in this aircraft sale. The addition of these two A330-200 aircraft to National's fleet emphasizes our commitment to providing world-class service to our customers as we expand and enhance our passenger experience."

These new planes are equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines and configured in a two-class layout with 49 premium seats and 245 economy seats. Jie Chen, CEO of CDB Aviation, commented, "We are delighted to have collaborated on executing this sale transaction for two of our A330-200 passenger aircraft and look forward to expanding our partnership with the National team."

The latest plane, registered N828CA, was initially ordered by Avianca in 2007 and began flying in 2011. Another aircraft registered N819CA is currently operating flights for the United States Air Force. Both planes were part of an agreement executed with CDB Aviation.

National Airlines purchased its first Airbus aircraft in 2020 as part of an ongoing expansion project. The company now operates nine Boeing 747 freighters alongside its growing passenger fleet that includes Airbus A330-300s, A330-200s, and a Boeing 757-200.
