Hyatt Hotels Corporation and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas have announced a long-term licensing agreement that will integrate The Venetian and The Palazzo into Hyatt's booking channels and the World of Hyatt loyalty program. This partnership will allow World of Hyatt members to earn and redeem points at both properties, as well as earn credit toward the Brand Explorer Award. Elite members of World of Hyatt will also enjoy on-property benefits.

The collaboration marks a return to the Las Vegas Strip for Hyatt after its previous partnership with MGM Resorts ended last year. Since then, Hyatt's presence in Las Vegas has been primarily through the off-Strip Rio Hotel & Casino, part of the Destination by Hyatt brand.

The new agreement is expected to replace an existing partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts and The Venetian, which is set to conclude at the end of this year. Earlier speculation suggested that this breakup could pave the way for Hyatt's significant return to the Strip.

Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt's chief commercial officer, stated, "Las Vegas is a perennial favorite for World of Hyatt members and our group business customers are requesting rooms at a higher volume than pre-pandemic due to the world-class entertainment and unique experiences offered by this dynamic destination." He added that the agreement with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas adds 7,000 rooms and 2.25 million square feet of meeting space.

Patrick Nichols, president and CEO of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, commented on their continued innovation: "Our legendary resort continues to lead the way on the Strip, setting the benchmark for innovation, luxury, and unforgettable guest experiences." He noted that their relationship with Hyatt would enable them to expand their reach and connect with new audiences.

The integration timeline for this partnership has not yet been disclosed. Additionally, details regarding how Venetian Rewards members will benefit from World of Hyatt privileges remain unspecified.
