Parks Hospitality Holdings is developing the property. The company has experience with projects such as the Waldorf Astoria Cancun and Hilton Tulum. Hilton's expansion in Mexico is notable as it continues to grow rapidly in the Caribbean and Latin America region. Currently operating over 100 hotels in Mexico, Hilton plans to add more through partnerships like that with Small Luxury Hotels.

In addition to working with Hilton on this project, Parks Hospitality Holdings is also developing other properties such as Park Hyatt Cancun and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos.
