Condor Airlines recently took part in the FlyPink initiative, aiming to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. As part of this campaign, Condor's crews flew a pink-striped aircraft for the first time in October. The airline offered FlyPink products on board and through its online store, with proceeds directed to Breast Cancer Germany e.V. A total of 20,000 euros was raised from these sales and donations by Condor guests.
The donation was handed over last week to Kira Schäfer, Regional Representative Hessen of Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. Christian Schmitt, COO of Condor, expressed gratitude for the support received: “Thanks to the great commitment of our guests and the support of all our employees, we were once again able to set an important example this year,” he stated. Schmitt added that they are pleased to donate the amount to Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V., thanking all participants for their generosity.
Renate Haidinger from Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. also shared her appreciation: “We are incredibly grateful and proud to be a part of this unique project. Together we can bring this important topic and all its messages to the world."
