On December 18th, flyExclusive, a business jet charter service based in Kinston, North Carolina, announced it had recorded its busiest day of private jet flights during this year's Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The company saw a significant increase of 47% in flight numbers compared to the same period in 2023. Additionally, flyExclusive achieved its highest one-day revenue since its founding over nine years ago.

The Thanksgiving holiday week, from November 22nd to December 1st, was among the busiest for air travel. According to the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA), December 1st marked the busiest day on record at airports nationwide, with more than 3.09 million passengers flying that day as reported by Reuters. This surge in travelers also affected private aviation.

FlyExclusive confirmed that it experienced its busiest travel day ever during this period. The company's CEO and Founder Jim Segrave commented on this achievement: "As we’ve grown the business, we’ve been disciplined and strategic every step of the way, and we’re seeing the results of that with strong customer demand combined with efficient fleet utilization." He emphasized their approach to controlling every aspect of customer experience through vertical integration.

Earlier this quarter, flyExclusive reported third-quarter financial earnings for 2024 with a revenue exceeding $76 million—a $14 million increase from last year—though they still faced a net loss of approximately $24 million. Part of their strategy included an exclusive deal with Volato in late August to take over Volato's aircraft management service business segment.

In September, nearly 200 customers joined flyExclusive's membership programs like Jet Club, contributing to growth by increasing their bottom line by over $600 thousand. FlyExclusive has also expanded its fleet by acquiring three Bombardier Challenger 300 series aircraft and plans further expansion in 2025.
