Delta Air Lines and The Delta Air Lines Foundation contributed $63 million to global communities in 2024 through charitable giving, aligning with their mission to connect people and places. Their efforts focus on Environment, Equity, Education, and Entire Wellness. Tad Hutcheson, Managing Director of Community Engagement, highlighted the dedication of Delta's employees: "The Delta Difference is proven through our people. Delta people want to roll up their sleeves and help those in need."

In 2024, Delta employees donated 15,585 units of blood to the American Red Cross and supported Junior Achievement chapters across five continents with career readiness programs. They partnered with the Best Defense Foundation and Veterans Business Resource Group to fly 48 WWII veterans to Normandy for D-Day's 80th anniversary.

Delta volunteers built four homes in Atlanta with Habitat for Humanity, adding to a total of 287 homes since 1995. They also provided over 400 scholarships to the National Flight Academy and constructed four playgrounds with KABOOM!, totaling 42 playgrounds since their partnership began in 2013.
