Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has announced a new global sponsorship agreement in cricket, becoming the 'Principal Sponsor' and 'Official Logistics Partner' for both Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in South Africa and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in India. The partnership will cover the SA20 seasons and Indian Premier League (IPL) starting in 2025.

The announcement was made at an event attended by Richard Smith, chief operating officer, international, and chief executive officer of FedEx's airline division; Kami Viswanathan, president of FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa (MEISA); KS Viswanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings; and Ankit Baldi, COO of Chennai Super Kings.

"Sports transcend borders, uniting communities through passion, resilience, and shared experiences," stated Richard Smith. "This collaboration reflects our dedication to energizing growth and prosperity of businesses and people across the country and beyond."

The FedEx logo will be prominently displayed on the back of the teams' jerseys as part of this collaboration. FedEx plans to use its global network to manage the transportation needs for team kits, match equipment, and official materials from India to Johannesburg, the U.S., and other locations worldwide. This sponsorship also aims to enhance engagement with FedEx's brand among team members, customers, and communities.
