Federal Express Corporation, commonly known as FedEx, has introduced a new flight route to enhance connectivity between China, India, and Europe. This development aims to increase flexibility and operational efficiency for Chinese customers along key trade lanes such as Intra-Asia and Europe.

The new flight path links FedEx's Asia Pacific hub in Guangzhou, China, with Bangalore, India; the UAE; Liege; and Paris in Europe. Operating five times weekly, it offers businesses greater flexibility during the busy holiday season by reducing transit times by one day. This adjustment allows for next-day delivery to South India—a crucial advantage for industries like high-tech and automotive. Additionally, it improves service reliability for businesses managing imports and exports between China, India, and Europe.

China continues to lead in global export growth contributions with its total import-export value reaching RMB 39.79 trillion in the first eleven months of 2024. The Asia-to-Europe corridor remains one of the busiest globally, dominated by China's export of machinery, electronics, and high-tech goods.

FedEx has also introduced enhancements for outbound shipping from China to Jakarta, Indonesia; and Johor Bahru, Malaysia—reducing delivery times by one day and 2.5 hours respectively. These changes are designed to help Chinese companies operate more efficiently while boosting economic integration across Asian markets.

Moreover, FedEx has improved its export clearance process for high-value shipments (Cat-D), cutting transit times by one day from South China to Asia and Europe through Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

Poh-Yian Koh, Senior Vice President of FedEx and President of FedEx China stated: "China’s thriving foreign trade... highlights the importance of a resilient global network... By enhancing our air network... we can provide innovative logistics solutions that connect China to global markets."

FedEx is also developing digital solutions like the FedEx Ship Manager which assists small businesses in managing shipments online. Machine learning technology provides customers with a four-hour window estimate for incoming deliveries.

Federal Express Corporation operates worldwide offering reliable delivery services using an extensive air-and-ground network aimed at ensuring timely shipment deliveries across over 220 countries.
