Plume, an art exhibition by Cody Jimenez, is currently on display at John Wayne Airport. The exhibit delves into the intersection of Southern California's diverse ecology and the demands of modern society, exploring their impact on mental health and the natural world. It features vivid depictions of local flora and fauna contrasted with surreal plumes of smoke, creating a narrative that evokes beauty and foreboding. The exhibition is located in the baggage areas of Terminals A and B and will run through April 8, 2025.

Heather Bowling, JWA Arts Program Curator, commented on Jimenez’s work: “Cody Jimenez’s work embodies a deep respect for nature while addressing complex emotional and environmental themes.” She added that his art encourages travelers to reflect on humanity's balance with nature.

Jimenez works in Imaginative Realism, crafting vivid universes painted with lifelike precision where emotions take physical form. This approach allows him to explore beauty and danger's dualities through personal experiences.
