Geoffrey Thomas Editor-In-Chief - US Bureau Chief | Airline Ratings

Airline Ratings writer Chris Frame has been recognized as Aviation Feature Writer of the Year by the Australasian Airline Press Club (AAPC). The award was given for his feature story, "How The Jet Airliner Eclipsed Ocean Liners," published in April 2024. The article delves into how jet airliners transformed global travel, overshadowing ocean liners that had dominated transportation for a century.

Frame expressed his gratitude to Airline Ratings, stating: “Shipping and Aviation have been two of my biggest passions since I was a child. To have had the opportunity to write a feature for Airline Ratings that covered both topics was a great experience, and I am honoured to have been acknowledged by the AAPC for this work.”

The Aviation Feature accolade is among eight categories recognized by the AAPC.
