American Airlines has announced a program that allows U.S. residents holding a Mastercard to earn miles and Loyalty Points through the SimplyMiles initiative. The program provides an opportunity for participants to gain rewards on everyday purchases.

The SimplyMiles program is designed similarly to other reward programs like Amex Offers, Chase Offers, and Citi Merchant Offers. Users can enroll in specific offers and pay with any linked Mastercard after enrolling. The process begins by visiting the SimplyMiles website, logging into an American AAdvantage account, and linking at least one Mastercard.

Offers available through SimplyMiles vary; some provide miles based on spending while others offer a fixed amount when certain spending thresholds are met. Users must activate desired offers and adhere to specific terms such as purchasing online or in-store, or clicking through designated links.

"Offers cannot be combined or stacked with offers from other programs," according to the terms and conditions. However, there are instances where stacking might still occur if merchants participate in multiple programs without specific restrictions.

Participants can monitor their earnings via the "My activity" section on the SimplyMiles website. Miles generally appear in accounts within 10 to 15 business days of purchase but may take up to 30 days.

The SimplyMiles program is seen as an effective tool for earning additional AAdvantage miles and Loyalty Points across various merchants including gas stations, clothing stores, and delivery services. Frequent checking for new offers is advised to maximize earnings potential.
