Bombardier Aerospace, a leading aircraft manufacturer, has developed the Bombardier Challenger 600 series of business jets. Known for their speed and utility, these jets have become popular in the market. The series includes several models such as the Challenger 601, 604, 605, and 650.

The original Challenger 600 set a foundation with its aerodynamic design and Lycoming ALF 502L turbofan engines. It was equipped with advanced avionics systems to enhance pilot control and situational awareness. The Challenger 601 improved upon this with General Electric CF34 engines and advanced winglets to reduce drag.

Introduced in 1995, the Challenger 604 featured upgraded performance capabilities and an enhanced interior. It was powered by two General Electric CF34-3B turbofan engines and became a bestseller until production ended in 2006.

The Challenger 605 offered improved navigation through its Pro Line 21 avionics suite. Manufactured between 2006 and 2016, it was designed for long-distance flights with an extended range of up to six hours.

The latest model, the Challenger 650, features Rolls-Royce engines allowing speeds up to Mach 0.85. Its modern Vision Flight Deck includes a Synthetic Vision System (SVS) for better navigation. The jet is also known for its luxurious cabin design.

The Bombardier Challenger series began as Bill Lear's concept of a mid-sized business jet before being developed by Canadair and later acquired by Bombardier Aerospace in the late '80s after Canadair's bankruptcy.
