In November, Delta Air Lines collaborated with Junior Achievement Korea to host a career mentoring program for local high school students. The initiative took place on November 22, when students from Younghwa International Tourism High School visited Incheon Airport. The event offered them hands-on career development and insight into the operations of a global airline.

The students toured Delta's office, check-in counters, and boarding gates. They also received an exclusive preview of the newly expanded area of Terminal 2, which officially opened on December 3.

Junior Achievement Korea is part of Junior Achievement Worldwide, operating in over 110 countries to help young people develop essential workplace skills and social awareness. Delta works with 30 JA branches globally to provide mentoring programs focused on aviation careers, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship. Last year, Delta became the first airline to partner with JA Korea for a youth mentoring program.

This year's program allowed students to observe and participate in key airport operations such as check-in and passenger boarding under the guidance of Delta employees. The goal was to inspire students to explore aviation careers while gaining a deeper understanding of Delta's work environment.

"Partnering with JA Korea again to support local students is something we’re incredibly proud of," said Jeff Moomaw, Vice President, Asia-Pacific at Delta Air Lines. "Programs like these give us the chance to connect with the next generation and show them the exciting opportunities the aviation industry has to offer."

Soo-in Park, a sophomore from Younghwa International Tourism High School who participated in the program, shared her thoughts: "Meeting Delta employees and seeing what they do up close was eye-opening. Talking to the pilots was especially memorable—it gave me a better understanding of what their work involves." She added that this experience has made her consider pursuing a career in aviation.
