LOT Polish Airlines has launched its first business lounge in North America at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The new facility is accessible to travelers flying on Star Alliance carriers and walk-up visitors.

Located in Terminal 5, the LOT Business Lounge is open daily from 07:00 to 00:00. It features a minimalist design with Polish-inspired accents and offers views of the airport apron. Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience at LOT Polish Airlines, expressed excitement about this development, stating it symbolizes the airline's growth and mission to enhance travel comfort.

Chicago holds significant importance for LOT Polish Airlines due to its large Polish community and serves as a key connection between Poland and the United States. The lounge accommodates up to 165 guests and includes relaxation, work, and dining areas with a variety of culinary options.

The facility also offers modern amenities such as automatic dimming windows, WiFi, flight schedule screens, and charging stations. Commissioner Jamie L. Rhee of the Chicago Department of Aviation highlighted Chicago's role as a gateway for travelers connecting to Warsaw and Cracow.

The lounge is complimentary for LOT Business Class passengers, First and Business Class passengers of partner airlines within Star Alliance, those with Star Alliance Gold status or elite status at a partner airline, and Business Class passengers of contracted airlines. Other passengers can access the lounge for fees ranging from $55 to $70 depending on their ticket class.

In January, LOT will operate flights from six North American destinations using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
