As the year comes to an end, Simple Flying reflects on 2024's developments. The aviation news platform expanded its coverage from commercial aviation to include military and private aviation stories. This year also marked the launch of their new "Threads" commenting system, which allows users to initiate discussion topics.

Several significant aviation stories emerged in 2024. Notably, the Boeing 737 MAX door issue captured attention. The most viewed article was about the aircraft set to replace the A-10 Warthog, part of their military aviation focus by Aaron Spray. In commercial aviation, Rytis Beresnevičius wrote a popular piece on airlines changing their Boeing 787 engine options.

Simple Flying experienced a memorable moment flying on Iberia's first Airbus A321XLR flight. The team attended events worldwide and promises more exclusive content in 2025.
