Icelandair provides a lounge at its hub airport in Reykjavík, known as the Saga Lounge. This facility is available to passengers traveling in business class or those with gold or silver status in Icelandair's loyalty program, Icelandair Saga.

The lounge is located near the D Gates at Keflavik International Airport. It offers a calm atmosphere with warm colors, providing a space for travelers to relax and enjoy food and drinks before their flights. The lounge features ample seating, free Wi-Fi, family facilities, a kids' play area, and views of the Reykjanes peninsula and Faxaflói bay.

According to Icelandair, the lounge is inspired "by Icelandic nature." The staff maintains cleanliness throughout the day. Food offerings include fish dishes typical of Icelandic cuisine. A variety of alcoholic beverages are also available for self-service.

Access to the Saga Lounge extends beyond business class passengers and those with specific status in Icelandair's loyalty program. Certain credit cards issued by Arion and Íslandsbanki also provide access. Additionally, customers from other airlines such as airBaltic, Alaska Airlines, Atlantic Airways, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Edelweiss Air, Finnair, Lufthansa, and United Airlines can access the lounge under specific conditions related to their status or class of travel.

The lounge was first inaugurated in 1988 and underwent significant renovations in 2017. These updates included expanding the space to 1300 square meters and enhancing its aesthetics with wood accents and improved lighting.

Icelandair CEO Bogi Nils Bogason explained that offering high-quality products is essential for competing against larger low-cost airlines: "In Iceland we offer high living standards that mean high salaries in general... So we will never win against the big low cost airlines... on prices or costs. Our strategy has always been to have the right product."
