3. Miami International Airport (MIA) to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose, Costa Rica: Avianca last operated this route in 2022. It will compete with American Airlines on this path.
4. Miami to La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City, Guatemala: This route was also last flown by Avianca in 2022 and currently has American as the sole operator.

Fort Lauderdale to Managua (and onto San Salvador): Proposed service between Fort Lauderdale and Managua includes a continuation from Managua's Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport (MGA) to El Salvador International Airport (SAL). Spirit Airlines is currently the only U.S. airline serving FLL-Managua regularly.
