Flying commercially often involves dealing with delays, cancellations, and long TSA lines. Travelers typically face extensive boarding processes that can take hours, leading to frustration among passengers. After security checks, travelers proceed to their designated gates and wait for their boarding group, a process many find lengthy.

Some companies are working to improve this experience. PS, previously known as The Private Suite, offers an alternative approach to commercial travel. Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, PS has expanded its services to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). CEO Amina Belouizdad Porter leads the company which was established with Gavin de Becker & Associates for enhanced security measures.

PS redefines boarding by utilizing private terminals away from public ones at its operating airports. This setup allows guests a unique experience featuring a "back door" entrance to aircrafts and amenities like luxurious lounges, white-glove service during waiting periods, and private TSA and Customs clearance.

The company provides three programs: The Salon offers a secluded lounge experience with valet parking, cocktails, meals prepared by chefs, and shared transportation from the terminal to the aircraft. The Private Suite includes personal suites with entertainment centers and stocked pantries; it also offers valet parking with car wash services and BMW chauffeur service directly to the plane.

PS Direct resembles flying privately on commercial flights by offering direct chauffeur service from aircrafts to homes or hotels along with luggage retrieval at LAX.

Pricing options vary: an all-access membership under $5,000 annually lowers rates significantly across programs while providing priority reservations. The Salon Membership costs around $850 per person annually; non-members pay over $1,000 for Salon access or nearly $5,000 for four travelers in a Private Suite.
