The Cessna Citation Latitude, recognized as the top-selling business jet, is a super-midsize private aircraft produced by Textron Aviation in the United States. The plane serves both leisure and business purposes with its price influenced by factors such as maintenance, engine hours, and airframe condition.

According to the Aircraft Bluebook Summer 2024, a new Cessna Citation Latitude costs approximately $20 million, while pre-owned models are around $15 million. Prices for used jets range from $14.5 million for a 2015 model to $20 million for a 2023 model. The production year significantly impacts pricing, with newer models commanding higher prices. Other factors affecting value include specific configurations, equipment modifications or upgrades, and overall maintenance conditions.

With about seven units available on the market, representing only 3% of the total fleet, the Citation Latitude maintains strong resale value due to low market saturation. Monthly ownership payments are estimated at around $100,000. Leasing options include dry leases at $250,000 per month and wet leases at $450,000 per month.

The jet features advanced navigation systems and improved avionics and cabin amenities. It has a maximum speed of 446 knots (826 km/h) and can fly nonstop over distances like Los Angeles to New York or Dubai to Geneva.

Cessna has enhanced the Latitude's aerodynamics to reduce drag and cockpit noise while offering 'swooplets' instead of winglets for weight efficiency. The interior includes spacious seating arrangements with foldout worktables and USB power outlets.

Textron Aviation introduced the Cessna Citation Latitude in 2011 at an NBAA convention as model 680A. By May 2018, Textron had delivered 124 units globally with significant usage among mid-sized businesses and large fleet operators like NetJets.

Operating costs vary based on flight hours and fuel prices; an owner flying 450 hours annually could face variable costs of $1,817,496 with fixed costs totaling $678,790 annually.
