Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Resorts have introduced updates to their loyalty partnership, effective January 1, 2025. These changes provide enhanced benefits for Marriott Bonvoy members staying at MGM Resorts, particularly in Las Vegas.

The updated perks include an increased food and beverage credit of $20 per night for Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members. Discounts to select shows are now available to Platinum Elite members as well. Retail discounts have been expanded, offering a 10% discount for Platinum and Titanium Elite members and a 15% discount for Ambassador Elites.

Several benefits that were set to expire at the end of 2024 are now permanent for elite members. These include bonus points on qualifying charges, welcome gifts, enhanced room upgrades based on availability, retail discounts at participating shops, complimentary late checkouts based on availability, priority check-in lines, and more.

For Marriott Bonvoy Silver and Gold Elite members, the perks remain unchanged. Silver Elite members earn a 10% bonus on qualifying charges at MGM Resorts while Gold Elite members earn a 25% bonus along with a welcome gift of 500 points per stay.

Additionally, the status match program between MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy has been updated. Previously available only to higher tiers like MGM Rewards Platinum and Noir, it now includes MGM Rewards Pearl and Gold matching to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite and Gold Elite respectively.

These enhancements are seen as positive news for Marriott Bonvoy's elite tier members who frequent MGM Resorts.
