Tennessee's Nashville International Airport (BNA) is set to expand its offerings in 2025 with a range of new routes. The airport will welcome nonstop flights from various locations across the United States and international destinations, including Iceland and Ireland.

Icelandair will launch a new route from Nashville to Reykjavík's Keflavik International Airport on April 10th, 2025. This service was initially planned for May but was moved up due to strong demand. Tomas Ingason, Chief Commercial Officer of Icelandair, commented on the expansion: “This new connection links Music City to Iceland as well as onwards to our 34 destinations in Europe and we look forward to welcoming Nashville on aboard.”

Aer Lingus will begin flights from Nashville to Dublin Airport starting April 12th, 2025. Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), expressed his enthusiasm for the new service: "A new chapter in travel history begins today as Music City and the Emerald Isle are linked by a nonstop flight through our exciting new partnership with Aer Lingus."

Air Canada plans to introduce seasonal services from Nashville to Vancouver International Airport starting May 1st, 2025. Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, highlighted the significance of this expansion: “We are pleased to further expand our YVR hub with new seasonal services to Nashville."

Southwest Airlines will add two international routes alongside seven domestic connections from BNA in 2025. The airline will offer weekly Saturday flights between Nashville and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos in Mexico and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic starting March 8th.

Allegiant Air will commence flights from Nashville to Shreveport Regional Airport on May 22nd, part of its largest expansion yet. Larry Blackwell, Director of Airports for the Shreveport Airport Authority, noted the importance of this connection: “We are very excited that Allegiant decided to add direct flights to Nashville."

Frontier Airlines is set to start a new route connecting Tennessee with Orlando International Airport beginning March 7th, 2025.

Avelo Airlines announced plans for several routes linking Nashville with cities like Lakeland International Airport and Wilmington International Airport.

The addition of these routes signifies ongoing growth at BNA. Doug Kreulen emphasized this development: “We are excited about the ongoing growth at Nashville International Airport (BNA). In 2025, we will expand our network with new international routes.”
